Two of Kidderminster's distinctive venues are now easier to book after Wyre Forest District Council partnered with SpacetoCo, a specialist venue booking platform.
The Old Court and the Weaving Sheds offer flexible spaces for hire in the town centre. The Old Court provides modern offices, meeting rooms and conference facilities in a restored historic building. The Weaving Sheds offer characterful settings for larger outdoor events, exhibitions, festivals, performances and celebrations.
Who can use the spaces?
Businesses, community groups, event organisers and freelancers can book spaces through the new online system. Options range from professional workspaces and hot desks to conference facilities and large event venues.
How to book
The SpacetoCo platform allows customers to browse available spaces, check availability and make bookings in one place. People can access the booking system via the Wyre Forest Space website.
Councillor David Ross, Cabinet Member for Finance and Capital Portfolio, said the partnership aims to help more people discover the venues and attract increased activity to the town centre.
Both venues are part of the wider regeneration of Kidderminster and are already in use by businesses and organisations from across the district.
